As fall descends our thoughts turn to year end meetings with clients. It's a great time to inquire if their business needs a deeper dive on issues germane to State and Local Taxes. Any and all business expansions may have created a need to work with your clients on sales or income taxes.

Join the O’Hare Chapter on Oct. 21 for a discussion with  Joe Brigane about sales and income tax issues that may arise with clients:

  • Newly opened offices, warehouses, or other locations in new states
  • Employing sales personnel or remote workers in new states
  • New sales channels, products, or services within the past year

In the first hour, Joe will discuss how to identify and address these issues, with a review of relevant Illinois and Chicago rules and national developments that may affect your clients.

The second hour is an open Q&A, or “Bull Session.” Bring your SALT questions for Joe and the group to discuss, including questions about cases that have established nexus in other jurisdictions.
