Macrina Wilkins works as the Director of Market Insights for the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC), the leading trade association for the construction industry. She serves as a speaker within the industry, sharing her knowledge on trends in the labor, spending and material markets. Her work has been published in trade magazines and industry reports focusing on topics related to economic trends impacting contractors. Ms. Wilkins graduated from Cornell University with a B.S. in Human Development and has done post-bac work in Economics at George Mason University. She is a member of the National Associate of Business Economists and serves as the VP of Program Development of the National Economics Club of Washington DC.

James Wiedemann, CPA, is a shareholder with CBIZ CPAs P.C. He is also a director in the Assurance Services Division of CBIZ Advisors, LLC’s New Haven, CT office. He has more than 15 years experience providing compilation, review, and audit procedures in the construction, oil and gas, and manufacturing industries. James has experience with reporting requirements, revenue recognition, and cost allocation techniques within the construction industry. He has in-depth knowledge of accounting literature and is able to recommend changes to clients to increase productivity and overall output of information. James has prepared and presented internally and externally on construction accounting and auditing matters and serves as an advisor to professional staff providing on-the-job training.

He has been acknowledged in several publications of the AICPA’s Audit and Accounting Guide–Construction Contractors. Jim Lundy

Jim Lundy is a partner in the Tax & Business Services division and a member of Marcum's national Construction Industry Practice group. With more than 30 years of experience in both public and private practice, he is one of the most respected tax consultants in the construction industry. He works regularly with more than 350 construction entities to provide a wide range of tax services. Services include performing tax physicals to provide a full overview of a construction company's tax compliance and planning opportunities, establishing continuity and succession plans for contractors, dealing with federal and state authorities regarding tax issues important to contractors and leading in the timely completion of tax reporting required for the construction industry.

He is also an accomplished speaker and the author of many articles published on construction tax-related issues. Tennessee Society of CPAs has honored him as Speaker of the Year more than 10 times; the Alabama Society of CPAs has presented him with their Thomas A. Ratcliff Outstanding Discussion Leader Award, and he has been highest-rated speaker at both the AICPA National Construction Industry Conference and AICPA National Tax Conference. He is often sought out to provide in-house training to other CPA firms and organizations interested in obtaining the most up-to-date and practical applications of the tax rules and regulations pertaining to the construction industry. He has also testified before Tennessee Tax Commission regarding taxation of multistate contractors. Mr. Lundy is a past chair of the TSCPA Construction Committee and former chairman of the AICPA National Construction Committee. She represents owners, construction managers, general contractors, construction managers, subcontractors, and material suppliers in a variety of matters involving contract review and negotiation, bid protests, breach of contract claims, mechanic's liens, surety bond claims, and claims involving changes, differing site conditions, defective design, delay, disruption, acceleration and loss of productivity in both the public and private sectors. She has extensive experience resolving disputes through mediation, arbitration, and other alternative dispute resolution techniques and representing her clients in federal and state courts.

Lauren received her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law where she was a staff editor for The John Marshall Law Review and presiding barrister for the Trial Advocacy & Dispute Resolution Honors Council. She was recognized as part of the Dean's List, a Dean Fred F. Herzog Moot Court Competition winner, and a frequent competitor on several Mock Trial and Alternative Dispute Resolution competition teams. Prior to joining Wintrust Financial, Matt spent 9 years at Fifth Third Bank as Team Lead/Senior Vice President overseeing three industry specific lending groups including Construction & Engineering Companies, Government Entities & Institutional/Not-for-Profit Organizations and Trading & Finance Firms. Prior to joining Fifth Third Bank Matt spent 15 years in the surety industry providing surety bonds for construction and engineering firms and spent time with three surety companies: Seaboard Surety, Washington International/North American Specialty and Crum & Forster Insurance in various capacities as an underwriter/producer and regional manager overseeing east and west coast territories. Bill graudated with a BSBA in Accounting from Drake University in 1990. He has spent more than 30 years in the Surety industry. The first seven years in an underwriting capacity with St. Paul Insurance, a predessor company to Travelers. For the past 24 years, Bill has worked in a brokerage capacity with several different firms, and in 2003, he founded a start-up brokerage, Allied North America, in Illinois. Allied focused predominantly in the areas of construction insurance and surety. In 2010, Allied was sold to Aon and later that year, Bill moved to Assurance Agency, as surety team leader for the boutique brokerage. Marsh purchased Assurance and Bill continued in his role and by 2025 had overseen the growth in the book of business from $1.2 million in commision to more than $12.5 million.
