Learn to improve your governmental financial statement and Auditors’ opinion preparation skills by reviewing issued Illinois K-12 financial statements and Auditors’ reports for compliance with GAAP and GAAS.

Review Illinois K-12 reports on the GAAP basis and/or ISBE regulatory basis (cash or accrual). Attendees will spend dedicated time reviewing financial reports, including the basic financial statements, notes to the financial statements, individual fund financial statements, and Auditors’ reports.

This course is designed for Preparers, editors or reviewers of local governmental financial reports.

At least one year of experience preparing, editing or reviewing governmental financial reports.
