REGISTRATION CLOSES NOV. 30Advance registration allows us to assign participants to small working groups that balance experience levels and support meaningful peer discussion.
Strengthen your review of Illinois K–12 financial statements and auditors’ reports through hands-on practice with school district reporting requirements.
Review reports prepared on the GAAP basis and/or Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) regulatory basis, including cash or accrual. Begin with a brief standards update, then work individually and in small, facilitated groups to examine basic financial statements, notes, individual fund statements, and auditors’ reports.
Compare findings with peers and discuss how applicable accounting and auditing standards affect school district reporting.
