Overview
Generally accepted auditing standards (GAAS) require an auditor to obtain reasonable assurance about whether an entity's financial statements as a whole are free from material misstatement, whether due to fraud or error. The primary responsibility for fraud prevention and detection rests with both those charged with governance of the not-for-profit entity (NFP) and management. This course provides an overview of fraud risk and prevention for NFPs.
